Hard to believe, but June is almost over, we are starting the second half of 2023.

Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram)

  • Several robust product security features updates have been released by Meta to safeguard Facebook business accounts from malware.

  • We hope this change will keep business accounts more secure.

  • Audience controls for Advantage+ shopping campaigns have been introduced, enabling advertisers to set restrictions on ad visibility based on age or location. That change will make shopping ads on FB and Instagram more effective

  • Instagram now allows ads in search results.

  • Users will see both organic results and related ads when searching for businesses. It will add one more placement to our IG ads.

  • Lead generation with WhatsApp chats

  • Advertisers can now create ads that initiate automated chats on WhatsApp with individuals who express interest in your business.

  • We already tested this type of ads and we can help you set it up.

Google Ads

  • Google Ads dashboard will soon have a new look. We will learn the new dashboard and keep you posted on major changes

  • Ad campaigns with Google Ads linked to Google my business will now use photos from Google my business to enhance the Google text ads.

Linkedin, Pinterest and Microsoft

  • LinkedIn now offers Ads to promote event registration. This will help connect with a broader audience of professionals and maximize the impact of the event with ease.

  • Pinterest Ads is launching Premiere Spotlight and Travel Catalogs, two new advertising solutions to enhance campaign success on the platform.

  • Microsoft Ads and Roku revealed key findings regarding the connection between TV streaming, search, and native advertising. As users increasingly shift from traditional cable packages to streaming services, this study highlights the value of incorporating connected TV advertising into online marketing efforts.

Your action items for July

  • Google Ads’ advertiser verification needs to be started by 2023-07-23 to keep running ads. We have completed this task for all of our active Google ads clients.

  • Google Analytics will stop processing data on July 1. If you need last-minute support with GA4 transition, please reach out.
